It's working now... Finally. So for anyone who ever stumbles upon this mess of a thread and has a similar issue:
-Check to see if you even have SMTP sendmail services and it uses port 25 -For the <smtp_server> tag, put 127.0.0.1 -Within <client> tag, list 127.0.0.1 within the <server-ip> tag -The email_from and email_to tags; write the FULL domain name.
