Good to hear. Though, the new MacBook remains 680g heavier than the Air.

Well, I would, but the nearest Genius Bar to me (Berlin) is about
600km away (Münich) and the local authorized repair shop quoted a turn
around on a case repair of about 2 weeks. Since this is my main office
machine and I don't have a stand by, I think I'll suffer the cracks
for a few more weeks.
