Agreed. My point was that though the quote itself was clearly focused on Obama failing at this specific task - and not in itself a sweeping hope for failure on all points - it's clear to anyone listening that is indeed his message. It's simply insane - and, yes, unpatriotic - for someone with such a massive audience to be rallying his troops to essentially pray for failure, when the cost of failure is so high. This isn't about some fine point of policy, this is high stakes. He clearly intends to be an obstructionist, not the legitimate well-intentioned opposition. Where's Rush's plan anyhow? A mere private citizen can criticize, bitch and moan without a care, but Rush has influence that's hard to overestimate - he can show his care for America by making deliberate proposals to help America through, or he can kick and scream and sabotage - we all know what path he's going to take. But anyone who thinks we can get through this crisis - and Chuck, you're wrong, it's not just the Left fear-mongering - by doing nothing is foolish, and when they have millions of devoted followers, dangerous. _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
