What confuses me is on the one hand the (honest) belief that the 2nd Ammendment protects the people's capacity to violently overthrow a government should it be necessary, and their total failure to attempt to do so - or to ever see common cause with those who have tried - in the face of other blatant abuses of Constitutional rights. It seems the only Constitutional right the most rabid protectors of the 2nd feel is worth protecting under the 2nd is, in fact, the 2nd.
