I'll give two answers to that. First, how is it that Chuck and others on this list including myself felt emotionally moved by the actions of an airline crew and rescuers, none of whom any of us know (likely) ? Chuck said he was "proud". And yet none of those people have any links to us here. Is there not collective pride, empathy, joy? So why not collective remorse? Sorry 'guv, wasn't me, you keep saying. Second, I can apologize for having never managed to convince Chuck to see things differently about guns. And when I think about kids shooting each other on the streets of America, and that that phenomenon is slowly coming over here too, then I apologize for that and I'll start a thread here, to try to debate it with Chuck once again. I apologize for not taking the guns thing seriously. Time we looked at it again.
