Ok, if you build gdal yourself, here are the options you should use :
--lib-tiff=internal --lib-geotiff=internal
--with-rename-internal-libtiff-symbols=yes
--with-rename-internal-libgeotiff-symbols=yes
This way :
- You get an up-to-date bigtiff support from gdal internal tiff library,
- Gdal does not mess with other tiff libraries potentially installed in
your system.
