Great, that works! Seems like I just have to provide the extended filename in the first preprocessing step and then cartographic information will be deleted from the Tiff. Yet I'm not into detail of this sensor model/cartographic information conflict of OTB, but referring to the number of topics in the user group a special explanation of this in a brief chapter of the CookBook would be useful.
