Hi Asma- Did you ever determine the cause of your problem? I too am attempting to orthorectify IKONOS imagery with the same result. No change in the pre-ortho and the post-ortho image. I have used the same DTED and otbcli_orthorectification formatting for other sensors and they worked fine.
