One more piece of information: There is also the possibility of changing the otb paths from the advanced settings. Go to Settings -> Options -> Advanced, click on "I will be careful!", then processing ->configuration and you will be able to change OTB_FOLDER and OTB_LIB_FOLDER, although that seems to be missing in some cases.

Hello Enoch, Currently the QGIS processing plugin works as such: if an existing OTB installation is found, the settings to change the "application folder" and "command line tools folder" are hidden in the settings dialog box (processing->options->providers->orfeo toolbox). We might push a patch to QGIS to change that but as of now, a hacky workaround is to simply remove the system's OTB, or hide (rename or delete) the files that the plugin looks for, which on linux are: /usr/local/bin/otbcli /usr/local/lib/otb/applications Victor Poughon ________________________________ De : [email protected] [[email protected]] de la part de Enoch Matthew Aguirre Alegre [[email protected]] Envoyé : mercredi 13 janvier 2016 15:12 À : otb-users Objet : [otb-users] How to use the Stand Alone binary version?
