Sorry I missed your messages, I could have told you that. Where is the part of the doc that says that geoid is not mandatory when using DEM ? I will try to fix it. Note that this all depend on what your DEM height convention is.

OTB developers may want to change the documentation where it says if you have dem, you dont need geoid. After reading quite some ossim code, i realized that is definitely not the case.
