I'm currently working in a pediatric practice
in Münich, Germany. We are often approached by pediatrics and
parents do "solve" their kids handwriting problems... Some of the
children do well on sensory integration therapy, some need a better
finemotor coordination, but I always find a number of kids that don't
respond to our treatment at all. Even 10 sessions of graphomotor
exercises didn't do the job ;-) Harris and Livesey (1992, Australia)
suggested that activities involving kinaestetic acuity, perception and
memory are more effective than practice alone. Does someone know more
about this?
A nice weekend to all of you
