Jennifer: ALL your ideas are terrific, and with your permission I am definitely going to suggest them for our OT celebrations. Among a bunch of other things for OT week last year we circulated an OT Quiz to give facility staff an opportunity to test their knowledge about OTs and the OT role. The quiz had 16 multiple choice questions, and we gave three prizes. The prizes ranged from a family pass to the local museum, to a gift certificate for "The Body Shop" and a long sleeve cotton t-shirt with the OT logo on the front. It went over really well, and people enjoyed it, plus we were able to educate staff about OTs and the OT role in the facility. I think something along these lines is very helpful for the profession as a whole since our profession's visibility is rather low for a variety of reasons.
