Hello,

I am a level II occupational therapy student.  I am currently in a nursing home that provides both short term rehab and long term rehab for a variety of DX (OA, CVA, Parkinson, COPD, THR, TKR...ect).  The level of function/cognition varies for each patient and the therapist do not have their own case load, they serve on a first come first serve basis, this makes it difficult to plan a session or to follow up with treatment.  I would not choose to work under these conditions in the future.

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for activities (sitting or standing) that may help increase endurance (beside cooking, dressing and bathing).

Thanks in advance,
Kathleen
