I just wanted to say that in telling about my experience with hospice I was commenting on patients who are on Hospice benefiting from occupational therapy ... not the lack of nursing's understanding of O.T. I believe the nursing staff where I work has a good understanding of O.T. because I educate ALL the time... I think relating O.T. to Hospice patients and quality of life is where the misunderstanding stands and requires con't education :)
