Hello all;

I work at a Subacute/Rehab with some long term. At the present time, we are
told to administer the ACLS on every client at time of eval and verify with
the ADM placemat. When we are faced with an individual who is legally blind
and connot perform the ACLS we are asked to estimate an ACL mode based on
our initial eval. I have educated our Rehab director on numerous occassions
that you can not determine an ACL mode through observation alone especially
during the initial eval. I personally write on my eval something to the
point of "Unable to administer the ACL secondary to.....will continue to
assess through treatment". Well this worked for awhile, however he is
starting to get on me again about putting a mode. So please if anyone is
familiar with an adapted version of the Allen for those who are legally
blind I would forever be greatful! I have been online and did not see
anything in particular, but I plan on asking them.

Thanks in advance for any help

T
