Even though the question is a hypothetical one, wouldit not matter what your deficiets
were and your purpose of treatment. I am a PT student, and I am not as comfortable
with speaking for the aspect of OT (sad i must say that I do not know that much of
what a possible co-treater would do... all because my school, took away an excellent
OT that would help me understand this and better be able to answer my questions...) As
for a PT vs OT. It would depend on if you want to attempt to gain the ROM, even though
the orthopedic surgeon says your probably won't (does it hurt to try)a PT would be
best equipt to use manipulation skills, I beleive an OT is best at looking at one's
occupational deficiets...
