Hi Ronelle,

I had never heard of the Fountain House Model prior to your post. If anyone is
interested, I found a link that gives some information:
http://www.fountainhouse.org/art_pedestal.html
To make a more global point, I would propose that a model or frame of reference
is used to guide the collection, analysis and synthesis of information and is
utilized in the formulation of your response to that information. If one
subscribes to a particular model or group of models then it is inherent that
treatment plans would reflect the assumptions of that model or frame of
reference.

Jimmie

i want to know things about models and frames of references
used in occupational therapy
i'm very unsure on how exactly to use a model or frame of
reference when coming up with treatment plans.

for example, what is the fountain house model?
how would you use it?
