Hi Ron More anecdotal info. I have watched my cousin manage lymphedema in one leg which developed after a nasty car smash over 30 years ago. In her case daily mechanical drainage (with a toe to hip sleeve on a sequential pump) maintained by toe to hip compression garment during the day is an effective though onerous regime. Need I say she has tried everything else. The pump is her 'constant companion' every evening. Manual massage either professional or self administered is insufficient. Joan Riches
