Hi all:

I find this thread about discussing salary information on the listserv very
interesting. However, as a former Human Resources
professional who has some experience with compensation issues I am not sure
what the "price fixing" issue is here. It is very
likely that I am missing the point being made.

Can someone please help and make the concern more explicit. I would very much
appreciate that.

Thanks in advance,

One thing we can be sure of, when it comes to the Internet, there is
no privacy. Every e-mail message that is sent from one computer to
another, regardless of the source, is stored on multiple computers
before arriving at it's destination. These "stops" are open gateways
to anyone with desire, access and knowledge. So, while only AOTA
members may post messages on AOTA's lists, there is no reasonable
assurance that these messages remain confined to AOTA members.

  Interesting discussion!!

  Ron

ET> The concern with discussing prices on AOTA listservs is that they are not
ET> public forums but, private professional forums where only OT's who are in

rate

salaries
