Hi Becky! My first clinical was awful - I ended up failing the clinical and then had to do a lot of extra work to complete my degree. It's been worth it and the following clinicals I had were with great OTs. It did show me that acute rehab wasn't a good spot for me too.
I went into OT knowing I wanted geriatrics and that's where I am today. I did a school clinical and while it was fun working with the kids, I still wanted geriatrics after I was done.
