I would definitely train level transfers first, but I guess 
the problem is that the power chair is high, so the bed 
would have to be so high that her feet wouldn't be properly 
supported on the ground when bed side sitting?

I guess this is why I've yet to find any transfer videos 
from power chairs:-(

I know of high quads doing assisted pivot transfers from 
power chairs - they use something under their feet - 
footstool or turntable - but that's one more thing to keep 
track of, to interfere with her independence....

Would it be possible to raise the bed temporary, just for 
checking - without too much hassle?

I did find a video of a paraplegic guy transferring onto a 
tub chair. Hope this video format works for you too, Ron:
