Hi All I am a first year student at Sheffield Hallam University and i deceided to do some volunteering at Sheffield Healy Farm which is a inner city farm. The client group is quite varied (learning difficulties, Downs, Aspergiss, Vision impaired, Deaf and physical problems) As you can see quite a mixed bunch about 12 in all they are there on a LSC course (learning skills council ) a 3 year course wood work and gardening and this is very ripetitive and quite dull. I want to run some fun learning activities that can be graded accordingly.
Any ideas about short learning activity plans 30-45 mins long would be greatfull. Also any end of day activities while clients are waiting for thier lifts home would also be appretiated At the moment i have just started a daily diary with a few of them. And a quick game of sherrads at the end of the day.
