Certainly, I think there is overlap. As an OT, we trained and were educated in 
school regarding the proper gait pattern and problems with it. If I notice 
something wrong while the patient is walking, I'm going to comment on it and 
try to help the patient correct it. But my focus is not on correcting the 
pattern of gait, it is on mobilizing safely from one point to another utilizing 
everything I have been educated on.

Is  their  a  distinct  line  between  FM and GT?

Can OT do FM that involves GT?
