Ron this thread is important but is not well identified by the subject line. I am wondering if this thread and perhaps others where important conclusions were reached could be gathered together in a package for suggested reading for new members. Some of the work on the expertise of OT might also be useful. I am really heartened by your continuing use of the term adult phys dis. This is not to say that there are no problems with the effective use of occupation in other areas of OT practice just that these problems don't seem to cluster in the UE.
