Well, you can do it, but i don´t realy know how you wanna shift the content? You have to choose an other name for the OTRS database but the otrs user and password have to be the same.
I wouldn´t do it. I would take the time to update the database to the newest strukture und replace the "old" system with a new one. Sent by: [email protected] Just a short question: I have a very old OTRS installation on my server, 1.3.2. Instead of updating it, which is a long process, can I install also a second installation of OTRS, the newest one, on the same server? Then I could gradually move some content from the old to the new version. thanks, marc --------------------------------------------------------------------- OTRS mailing list: otrs - Webpage: http://otrs.org/ Archive: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs To unsubscribe: http://lists.otrs.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/otrs NEW!
