I used to work with comercial ticket systems and one think in common to
3 that were used is that no data is removed.
But they had a diffrent aproach - archives.
In my project data older then 3 months was moved to achive DB or Table
still accesible from system - this would be wery welcome feature in OTRS.
But I have not herd of anyone doing it - so I guese I will have to do it
myself soon. Soon means that it may be ready in january in my organization.
If you will still be intrested I can post you code then - or perhaps
sombody already did this?
P.S. Not all data older then 1 year should be removed I think just
closed, removed tickets and there articles.
