Friends
I am here to report that the letter 'D' turned itself in this afternoon
without a fight. I (and my team of able-bodied detectives) spent two hours
combing the ruins of my room for the errant letter. There was no escape -
even the waste paper bins were searched thoroughly! Eventually the letter
was discovered cowering in a drawer of my wife's desk. {Dr. Watson refused to
type 'in my wife's drawers'!} How it got there I don't know. The letter
came into my custody and was straight away restored to its rightful position
between letters 'S' and 'F'.
Now, what makes the letters of an Apple extended keyboard (USB model) jump
overboard? Has this happened to others? Is this something I should take up
with Apple Australia?? The evidence of the two letters' crime spree is clear
... they left the keyboard while no one was watching and without permission.
After a day or so of wickedness ... they were discovered. It must not happen
again.
Would any old USB keyboard work in place of the genuine one?
