Paul, First of all, forget the pid comment, I found it in the lower part of the man page. I know, Read The Fine Manual.
I just tried --link on the latest code (I had not been using that up till now). Since I have an ibuttonlink hub as the only interface, it seemed like the right thing to do. It failed to work correctly. It showed bus.0 and bus.1 and no devices. When I took the --link out, everything worked as normal.
