@ Christian, did an update of the package but still the same problem: owserver becomes a 'zombie'-ps when I 'cat' to FF.xxxx/screen16. Also when I echo a too long string to screen16 or even line16.[01] the display blanks and won't accept anything until a restart of owserver. For the record; previous version I tried was 2.6p6-7 and today 2.6p6-8 of owfs, owlib and owshell and the box is running whiterussian rc5, 0.9 Works fine if I restrict the output to a max of 16 chars to line16.0 and 16.1
