HA7Net works, but is not close to optimized, yet.
I have one of the devices, and so it's only a question of finding time.
Basically the HA7Net gives a web display to 1-wire devices. They have some
pre-programmed support for a few devices, but also allow a "raw" mode to
send byte sequences to a device and return the response. OWFS does "web
scraping" to retrieve the data.
Currently we dont aggregate the send/response, so one measurement can take
many tcp packets. I've been putting in the infrastructure to consolidate the
communication.

If all you want it a remote 1-wire device, consider also owserver running on
a small machine like the FOXboard, NSLU2, ...
