My intial project being completed I am looking at extending my 1wire network..I
would like to be able to monitor my electricity usage in real time. I am in
Australia and have a "disc" type kwh meter. I understand you maybe able to see
the black stripe on the disc however my meter is fairly new 15 YO and the disc
is very thin ~2 mm and is set back at least 10mm from the Perspex cover of the
meter.
Anybody have any tips pointers to cct's etc that may help me in getting some
kind of pulse I can feed into OWFS. I suppose I could try and assemble a
sensor however alignment to the disc would need to be so precise and focused.
I have not as yet found a cct
