Hi,
in the user guide of the bus coupler is mentioned:
"Hinweis: Es ist die Funktion "Strong Pullup" zu aktivieren." , i.e. the strong pullup function should be activated.
How can we activate that function ?
How can we perform your mentioned check?

I make a wild guess: please check whether your onewire bus line rests at
+5V when there is no activity. Maybe your host adaptor has no pullup
resistor and the other setup (with the MS-Windows PC) covers that by
triggering the strong pullup automatically from time to time.
