Yes, that's the way to go.

About the welcome page: Let's start with a page about Onewire in
general, then give owfs as *one* of the solutions.

A driver hierarchy would help most to structure that page. Not an image,
just a table of colored, clickable blocks

And are you all okay with a bit uncouth writing style? Because I think
it helps loosening up the exact, technical text parts.
