Going forward, these will mostly all be ODATA feeds. This is the same type of feed that was provided by ADO.NET Data Services (now renamed to WCF Data Services). I'd start by Googling ODATA. Feeds are about to become very important. Excel, etc. now can consume them directly and MS has their new commercial feed service and marketplace coming on line soonish (check out project Dallas).
