Hello Greg

I had been looking at ODATA, but didn't make the connection with the simple
task I posted about. I'll certainly do some BINGing.

Meanwhile, I'll take a look on stackoverflow and MSDN.

Hi Ian,

Going forward, these will mostly all be ODATA feeds. This is the same type
of feed that was provided by ADO.NET Data Services (now renamed to WCF Data
Services). I'd start by Googling ODATA.

Feeds are about to become very important. Excel, etc. now can consume them
directly and MS has their new commercial feed service and marketplace coming
on line soonish (check out project Dallas).

HTH,

Greg

Subject: IE8 RSS feeds

Does anyone have experience in IE8 programming, specifically how to build /
what is the format of the .rs files located in -

C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Feeds\ ?

They're obviously binary + the expected XML, but there must be an API that I
can use to red and write these things.
