Is there a GUI interface for Apache? From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Anthony Sent: Friday, 9 July 2010 2:11 PM To: 'ozDotNet' Subject: RE: Is it me..or is IIS 7 manager a crap interface?
Maybe MS should hire Apple's gui designers as consultants..so we agree its has issues From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Joseph Clark Sent: Friday, 9 July 2010 3:35 PM To: ozDotNet Subject: Re: Is it me..or is IIS 7 manager a crap interface? I found it very confusing after first swapping to it from IIS 6. Having had time to adjust, I think it's a pretty good representation of a complex system. It's certainly easier to find the settings that were quite esoteric/hidden away in previous managers. The one thing I don't like is the swapping between site content/site features via tabs in the main panel... my brain just doesn't grok it. Personal preference though, I'm sure!
