Recruiters are sales people - same as car and real estate sales people (but arguably less ethical). I'd say that ad was targeted at their customer (omfg you're so important we'll get someone with 10 years experience) more than any potential recruits. In my experience that don't actually qualify people for jobs properly and actively coach them for interviews (to close a sale). David.
