Plus the stigma of being 'just a contractor' and 'wasting Gov Money' from
the permanents. Of course they never consider that contractors don't get the
roster day off, public holidays, extra leave for anything, unions, leave
loading, extended holidays, super perks etc.
You are just seen as someone who is getting more per hour than them and
that's it.

This is from someone who was working as a contractor in a Gov Department.
