Fixed it! First time a driver update has given me something as sweet as 2560x1440. :)
Good grief, are you telling me that it was a driver update in your case to get the 2560 x 1440 working?! That was the first thing I tried without success before I discovered it was the DVI cable. My DELL U2711 has boosted my productivity for sure over the last week. I very rarely maximise any windows any more. Imagine how pissed off I was to find that DELL had a sudden discount special $80 less than what I paid just two days after I get mine from HT, it's like playing the stock market - Greg P.S. The thing runs hot, feel the top of the screen.
