for relief of itching and pain - pinetarsol in the bath and wearing no underpants.

Has she tried boiling her underpants to make sure that it is not recuring from them?
There is also Canesten anti fungal rinse for in the washing machine that may help in her general wash.
You can also get acidophilus (spelling ?)  from the chemist in a tablet form which is effective but I am not sure about during pregnancy - can't imagine it would be contra indicated.  You have to ask for it as they have to keep it in the fridge so it is not on display.
Hope that helps.
Rhonda.

NB: Pinetarsol may sting if she has any open tissue there but it will then relieve.

Subject: Thrush in pregnancy

Dear All,

Do you have some advice for a 28 weeks pregnant woman who is being driven mad by ongoing thrush? She has been following the anti-candida diet for about three weeks to no avail. Lots of pain and lots of strain in her marriage!

Awaiting your wisdom with thanks in advance!
