Why does any questioning of the reasoning behind policies, or suggestions to review guidelines, produce this emotionally defensive result? Ridiculous. Policies should be reviewed annually by a balanced committee, and brought up to date with research-based care. They should never be implemented by one individual, or one profession, but rather come together with input from every individual that will be performing them and/or having them performed on them.
