I think you're right that homebirth consumers tend to be the most informed of all women having babies.    and of course they know that homebirth is as safe as hospital birth, and once educated about the whole deal, safer once removed from that risk of iatrogenic complications (or, as I like to call it: the-bed-is-in-the-middle-of-the-room-I-may-as-well-get-on-it syndrome).


Hi Jo thanks for your response and sorry to have jumped on your case - its not a matter of putting your foot in it again - we all have a right to express our opinions - (some of us are more opinionated than others :-) ).......its just interesting though, as your comments above weren't what you stated before on the issue..........I too take on board that you didn't use my specific words.....and if you read my post carefully you would see that I was merely asking the question, was this what your thoughts were ????.......Thanks for further clarification of your views.
