Hi everyone,
I hate to tell you guys this, but the list is no
longer free from the troubles we had a few months ago with viruses. Now
the blighters are getting through by using your address books still and using
old email headers so now we are being inundated with attachments from people who
are familiar, email headers have the (ozmid) pretext and the topics are
familiar. Some are coming through with legit messages but with nasty
attachments.
I have been getting about 10 a day and deleting
them immediately. But I am going to keep note of those emails that come
from the list and inform the unbeknown senders that they may have a
problem. If your name appears and you don't have a nasty, then someone
with your email address does. Please do the same for me! If you get
any attachments from list please let us know! Remember the list doesn't
allow attachments so be wary.
