While this isn't the sort of hard evidence research is based on, I've seen women have "emerg" c/s (all had great outcomes) after women have had their membranes ruptures, babes show signs of fetal distress & off they go.
Have the rest of you experienced this?
I guess one thing is that since ARM occurs so frequently in conjunction with Synt &/or epidural, it's hard to know which intervention is causing the distress (if you can ever pinpoint the cause-effect relationship at all).
What do you all reckon?
