Hi Geesje and Carol,

This is a really important issue. The College is currently doing some work
to try and collate the various efforts going on re industrial agreements
around group/caseload midwifery practice. We are hoping to have some
material available in another month or so.

In the meantime, you could also try contacting Sally Tracy on
[EMAIL PROTECTED] in addition to the contacts already given at the
Adelaide Women's and Children's.
Sally has been responsible for negotiations with the NSW Nurses Association
and NSW Health over the annualised salary paid to midwives providing full
time caseload care in the Group Midwifery Practice at the Ryde Hospital.

Regards Barb.

Hi Geesje,
I think it was approx 30% but I cant remember exactly. You could e-mail Roz
Donnellan-Fernandez who is the co-charge midwife of the new group practice
model at the Women's and Children's Hospital. Her e-mail is
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
You should investigate the award rate for NPs in NSW and demand the same.
All the best, Leanne.
