Dear Abby,
I think(while not trying to speak for
them) what the ladies are trying to say is, sometimes a midwife of whatever
background or belief is going to have to do a VE (such as the Galea case showed
- a real medical need to know if the cervix is dilated ) and even if it is only
once in a lifetime, each midwife MUST KNOW HOW to do it.
