Ah, there is lots happening in Adelaide at the moment Jeannine! Are you interested in working group practice? W&CH have a successful and expanding MGP ad then there's the Northern Women's Community Mid program. Mount Barker have got a wonderful unit (despite being GP dominated, the GPs are very supportive to MW. The FMC midwives are keen to apply for an MGP rumor has it and the QEH CEO is keen to get a midwifery model up and running also. These are all limited opportunities but it is worth a try. SA also has the highest cs rate in the country and an awful vbac rate! We have four active consumer support groups. Two unis offering B Mid and I know both Uni SA and Flinders have very proactive midwifery academic units! What part of Adelaide are you hoping to move to?
