Most sources suggest upping green leafy vegetables in the diet as they are sources of Vit K. But really unless there is a violent birth, why would a baby "need" it anyway? There is more than sufficient in breastmilk or the human race wouldn't have survived so long.

Subject: [ozmidwifery] Maternal Vitamin K?

Midwives et al...

Is there any way maternal Vitamin K can be accumulated prior to birth and therefore passed on to her baby, in order to prevent the newborn requiring neonatal Vitamin K???

Thanks in anticipation...
