Hi All:

I just need copied all document libraries which have infopath forms inside
through to 2007, no meta data required. If I do use windows explorer, the
document libraries will be created as folder instead of document libraries. As
these document libraries were created by customzied code, for some reason i
can't see it from SharePoint Site Migration Manager but i can see it from
SharePoint Manager 2007.

Cheers

Ken

Except
that he’d have to recreate all the lists first.

I’d
also recommend creating any custom content types on the destination box first.
Whether you need to manually associate them to the recreated lists will depend
on the solution you use.

And if it is just the documents you need without any other
information, you could always open via Windows Explorer and copy them across to
your 2007 site.

I’ve worked on a project where we made a backup of the 2003
farm, upgraded it to 2007 and then used the backup/export tools to migrate the
sites across to the production 2007 farm. Requires another SharePoint
farm, and time and effort to upgrade however.

Hi Ken,

It really comes down to how much content you need to migrate and
if you need to keep the version history, created by and date, custom columns
with lookup information etc of your documents.

If you do require that information, you should look at a tool as
mentioned, we have used the DocAve tool several times and it works very well,
it was also one of the most price competitive options we looked.

If you just need to get the documents across without all the
metadata, then a custom tool/powershell option might be the way to go. A lot of
it all comes down to time as well, if you have the time to DIY it, then
it’s an option, however, if you don’t then an off the shelf product
can definitely help.

cheers

Aaron

Tool has a name “PowerShell + WebDav”. You will be
surprised how powerful it is ;)

Actually try those
http://www.metalogix.net/products/migrationmanagersp/index.htm
and http://www.parallelspace.net/sharepoint/spinspouthelp.htm
