Hello All, I have a simple upgrade problem when upgrading a site from WSS 2.0 to WSS 3.0. A bunch of sites are not upgrading due to missing WSS language resources for English (Australia). Warning messages I get in the upgrade.log are :
[SPWebTemplateSequence] [WARNING] [2/19/2009 1:18:40 PM]: Template STS#0: Not applying the global template to web with URL " http://oldcompanyweb/cffc3f13-76db-4251-9d96-f0d91c055776"; (Id 'c65b8091-e254-4e1c-871e-162d00c752ee', site Id 'e2f9954c-7f90-4a50-8e04-8f30adc8aad6') because no WSS language resources are present for language 'English (Australia)'. Adding web to the exceptions list. and [ApplyGlobalTemplatesToWebsAction] [3.0.1.0] [WARNING] [2/19/2009 1:31:12 PM]: Ensure Global Template: Not applying the global template to web with URL "http://oldcompanyweb/8788f0e1-2568-4794-96c7-92040cbd5186"; (Id '9e660442-78b8-4829-9fbb-ec058a1032dc') because no WSS language resources are present for language 'English (Australia)'. Adding web to the exceptions list. This results in these sites not making it through the upgrade, has anyone faced this problem before and have a solution for it? As far as I know there is no English (Australia) specific language pack for WSS 3.0.
